One-hour planning session with Vanessa
Before you go anywhere, you spend an hour with Vanessa, who leads our scouting service. This is where the trip is shaped. She asks the questions most people don’t think to ask themselves.

02 — Itineraries
Three cities, fully planned
Vanessa builds a personalized itinerary across three Spanish cities chosen with you. You get:

03 — On the Ground
A private half-day tour in each city
Each city includes a private, custom-built half-day tour led by a local expert who lives there and knows the area inside out. These are not sightseeing tours. They’re designed to help you experience and compare the areas that match your lifestyle.
Before each tour, your local guide reviews your priorities and designs a route through the neighborhoods most relevant to you.
During the tour you’re guided through carefully selected areas, experiencing the character of each, seeing the amenities and services you’ll actually use, and getting honest, practical insight from someone who knows what daily life there is really like.
After the tour, you’ll have a clearer sense of what each area offers, the trade-offs between them, and which feels right.
04 — Support
WhatsApp support before, during, and after
From the moment you book, you have a direct line to Vanessa on WhatsApp. She’s in a group with you throughout the trip, answering questions, sharing local tips, and troubleshooting if something comes up. You’re never figuring it out alone.
05 — Debrief
One-hour recap session
When you’re home, you have an hour with Vanessa to reflect on what you saw. What surprised you? What clicked? What didn’t? What do you still want to explore?
By the end of the call, you’ll have a clear sense of where you stand and what your next step looks like.
06 — Recommendation
A written summary and recommendation
You’ll receive a written summary of your trip, your reflections, and Vanessa’s recommendations on what comes next, whether that’s a full relocation plan, a rental search in a specific city, or a second scouting trip to explore further.

Toward a Concierge Relocation Plan
If you decide to move forward with a full relocation plan within three months of your recap call, we apply a €300 credit toward the cost. The scouting trip is the start of your journey with us, and we want to make the next step easy.
Who runs your trip
Vanessa leads our scouting service. She moved from the US to Spain with her family and now spends her time helping others decide whether Spain is right for them. She knows the country, she knows the questions to ask, and she knows what it feels like to make this decision because she’s made it herself.
She is supported by our network of local guides in each city, all of whom live there and know their patch deeply.

Before you commit to a scouting trip, come along to our free weekly Q&A. It’s a 30-minute group session with the MTS scouting team, where you can ask anything about the trip, the cities, the process, or your own situation. You’ll be in good company. The people who come along are usually thinking about the same things you are, and the questions other people ask are often the ones you didn’t know to ask yourself.
